Guest Service Crew Member Job Description

The Guest Service Crew Member is responsible for providing friendly, accurate, and fast service to every guest. This position includes cashier and order packing responsibilities, ensuring orders are taken correctly, prepared for handoff accurately, and every guest has a positive experience. Team members in this role help maintain a clean front counter, dining area, and drive thru while supporting overall restaurant operations.

• Greet every guest with a friendly and professional attitude
• Take customer orders accurately at front counter and drive thru
• Operate cash register and process cash, card, and digital payments
• Pack orders accurately with all required items, sauces, utensils, and napkins
• Verify order accuracy before handing orders to guests or drivers
• Maintain speed of service while staying organized under pressure
• Answer guest questions about menu items, promotions, and specials
• Resolve basic guest concerns and involve management when needed
• Keep front counter, beverage station, lobby, and dining area clean and stocked
• Refill condiments, cups, lids, napkins, and supplies as needed
• Assist with curbside, carryout, and third party delivery orders
• Follow food safety, cleanliness, and uniform standards
• Work as part of a team and support coworkers during busy periods
• Complete opening, shift, and closing side work duties

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Team player with willingness to learn
• Previous restaurant or cashier experience preferred but not required
