Senior Civil Project Engineer - Lakewood, CO (Hybrid)

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Project Engineer to join our Lakewood, Colorado office. This role offers the opportunity to lead civil site development projects throughout Colorado's Front Range and across the country. You'll be responsible for managing multiple engineering projects from design through construction, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Key responsibilities include preparing master plans, conceptual designs, proposals, and project budgets; serving as a primary point of contact for clients and contractors; overseeing AutoCAD/Civil 3D design work; attending project meetings; reviewing submittals and RFIs; mentoring engineering and CAD staff; and supporting business development and client account management.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program, a minimum of 7 years of site development experience, and a PE license in Colorado (or the ability to obtain one within 3 months). Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and experience with municipal, commercial, and related site development projects are also essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong time management, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage projects independently. Business development experience is a plus.
