Parts Cleaner

A manufacturer in Noblesville is seeking Parts Prep candidates to join the 2nd shift team in their fabrication department. This role involves preparing metal or aluminum parts for the powder coat/paint process, ensuring they are ready for final finishing.

Responsibilities

• Regularly load and unload parts on the racking system.
• Tape and mask parts that require painting.
• Grind or polish parts to achieve a smooth finish.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Stand and lift materials consistently throughout the shift.

Essential Skills

• Experience in general production.
• Proficiency in hand grinding and polishing.
• Ability to hang and mask parts accurately.
• Competency in assembly and blueprint reading.
• Experience in parts fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in paint prep and visual inspection.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Familiarity with using a tape measure.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
