Adjunct College Skills Instructor "Pool"

To teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or our six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick during the day/evenings, via online and dual credit instruction in high schools. The instructor will teach varying schedules to a diverse student body in accordance with established syllabi, across a variety of locations, utilizing technology, and employing a variety of teaching methods. Under general supervision of the division dean, the instructor is expected to use professional training to provide instruction and advisement to students, and deliver professional services to the College and Community. Position Details Temporary, part‑time positions. Pool position: applicants remain in a pool and will be considered for hire on an as‑needed basis. Faculty are required to teach on campus, at county centers, online, or in dual‑credit roles. Qualifications Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in a college discipline, or bachelor’s degree in a qualifying field. Experience teaching at a two‑year college is preferred. High level of professional skills teaching adults is preferred.
