Registered Nurse

Registered NurseRegistered Nurses are responsible for the coordination of direct patient care and education. The patient population includes adults with a wide variety of medical problems. Common diagnoses on this unit include cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, and pulmonary conditions. Nurses will manage patients who are acutely ill. Ratios on this unit are 1 nurse to 5 patients. Seeking RNs who can work every other Saturday, with Sundays off. COVID-19 vaccination is not required, but a flu vaccine is mandatory with exemptions for medical or religious reasons. Travelers must comply with all fit testing requirements. A zero-tolerance policy for THC is enforced. RNs will be supported by interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Additional skills include blood product administration, telemetry monitoring, and management of dysrhythmias. This role includes the care of patients pre and post various medical procedures. Candidates should be adaptable and ready to work during the busy winter holiday season. Previous charge experience is not required but is preferred. The charting system used is Meditech.
