Join to apply for the Over the Road Driver role at NAPA Auto Parts 3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants CDL A Regional Job Description The primary function of the NAPA Private Fleet, CDL A Regional Driver, is to operate various tractor-trailer combinations for extended periods between company/customer facilities, terminals, yards, or work sites to pick up, transport, and deliver freight safely, timely, and efficiently. Private Fleet Highlights Scheduled to be home weekends No touch freight Dedicated routes Large percentages of routes are drop and hook Home Every Weekend Paid Safety Training Paid Quarterly Safety Bonus Satellite Radio Position Performance Measures Safe Driver Understand and follow FMCSA rules and regulations Attention to detail Responsibilities Transport and deliver freight regionally for short or long distances safely, efficiently, and legally Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, reporting defects/repairs Ensure operations comply with laws and regulations Document and log work/rest periods using company ELD Safely load, unload, and secure loads Follow instructions on manifests, bills of lading, and shipping documents Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records as required Communicate regularly with Dispatch/Operations regarding movements and issues Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company well Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 23 years of age Current valid Class A CDL with HAZ-MAT endorsement At least 2 years of CDL experience preferred Clean MVR for 2 years Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs occasionally Proficiency with electronics such as tablets and e-logs Physical Demands / Working Environment Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, handle, and reach Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally Leadership & People Capabilities Embodies values: serve, perform, influence, respect, innovate, team Effective communication and motivation skills Results-driven with customer focus Strategic thinking and decision-making Business acumen, relationship management, data judgment, talent management, agility Interested in future opportunities?
