Join a high-acuity birth center team and provide exceptional maternal, fetal, and postpartum care in a fast-paced Colorado healthcare setting.Job Details\n \n Location: Colorado Springs, CO\n Setting: Labor & Delivery / Birth Center\n Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)\n Start Date: 09/14/2026\n End Date: 12/14/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts\n Schedule: 36 hours per week; nights, various days\n Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,180-$2,290\n Orientation: 72 hours\n Patient Ratios: 1:2 for antepartum/postpartum, up to 1:4 in some areas\n Weekend Coverage: Required per unit needs\n Call: May be required per unit needs\n Floating: May float within the service line and potentially to a sister facility\n Charting System: Epic\n Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements\n \n Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience\n Previous travel nursing experience required\n Active Registered Nurse (RN) license\n Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced, and FHM certifications\n Experience with Epic charting and electronic health records (EHR)\n Strong background in high-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care\n Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity maternal health environment\n Ability to support weekend, night, and on-call coverage as needed\n Responsibilities\n \n Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients\n Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in condition\n Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, inductions, cerclage, D&C, and other obstetric procedures\n Support patients receiving magnesium, insulin, and Pitocin therapy\n Perform fetal monitoring, interpret tracings, and escalate concerns appropriately\n Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective patient care\n Educate and support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process\n Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow unit protocols and safety standards\n Adapt to floating assignments within the service line as needed\n \n Apply now to join this rewarding Travel L&D RN opportunity in Colorado Springs, CO, and make an immediate impact on mothers, babies, and families.
