Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) - Columbia Forum Blvd - MO

Responsibilities Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels including in‑person, by appointment, and virtually to provide the best possible counsel while adapting a digital first mindset. They establish strong client relationships based on trust, assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information, demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services, and recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs. They foster relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up, asking questions and learning about financial needs and banking channel preferences. They identify solutions for new and existing clients and effectively engage and communicate with clients. They keep up‑to‑date with consumer and business banking products, including digital products, and provide consistent optimal client experience, greeting clients and processing basic transactions, collaborating with branch team members to best serve clients, opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications. They proactively educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to assist with meeting financial needs, leveraging available resources and technologies to optimize client experience and serve with operational excellence and accuracy. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Typically a minimum of three to four years of retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training. Preferred Skills and Experience Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up. Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients. Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems. Proven customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies. Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset. Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively. Experience in the financial services industry preferred. Additional Requirements National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Required to complete a criminal background and credit check.
