The Chicago Reload is located in Franklin Park, IL., is approximately 6 acres in size and has 10 Railcar spots served by the CPKC Railway. We transfer product via forklift from truck to rail and/or rail to truck and also specialize in outdoor inventory management primarily of building materials, lumber, and steel. Under the direction of the Division Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Assistant supports the accurate and efficient flow of inbound and outbound freight at Arrow's Chicago, Illinois reload facility. This role assists with receiving, shipping documentation, inventory tracking, customer service, and communication with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams. The Shipping and Receiving Assistant plays an important support role in the day-to-day reload operations of the division, helping ensure products move through the facility and transportation network accurately, safely, and efficiently. The Shipping and Receiving Assistant contributes to customer service success and operational efficiency through accurate record keeping, timely processing of shipping and receiving documentation, and support of inventory control processes within the reload facility.
