About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year Licenses: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC Must-Have: - Patient experience - Emergency response Description: The unit has 28 beds. There are 19 staff members on the unit. Staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 5 Registered Nurses, 1 Triage Nurse, 1 Medic, and 1 Unit Secretary on both day and night shifts. The patient ratio is 1:4. The unit is equipped with ventilators and Baxter IV pumps. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech Expanse. Candidates must be team players and flexible. Preferred qualifications include TNCC certification. Typical procedures performed in the unit include intubation and central line placement. The position requires rotating weekends.
