Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist Centers Health Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist in the Adirondack Region. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment abilities and experience providing respiratory care in a long-term or post-acute setting. Responsibilities: Assess and monitor residents with respiratory conditions Perform diagnostic testing and evaluate lung function Interpret results and communicate findings to the care team Provide airway management, including secretion removal and clearing obstructions Educate residents on respiratory health, treatments, and prevention Instruct residents on proper use of respiratory equipment and therapies Respond to respiratory emergencies, including resuscitation support Collaborate with physicians on individualized treatment plans Follow infection control, safety, and clinical care protocols Provide care with respect for residents’ dignity and beliefs Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Current, valid Respiratory Therapist credentials/license Respiratory care experience preferred (LTC/post-acute a plus) Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
