Vendor Manager, Emerging Fashion

Fashion and Fitness (F2) is looking for a passionate, driven, self-starter to join the Emerging Fashion Brands team. The Vendor Manager (VM) is a P&L owner and hands on operator with some of the world's greatest new to Amazon brands. This role will work closely with brand leadership in creating and executing go to market strategies to accelerate growth on Amazon. This role will also work cross-functionally every day with supply chain, finance, advertising, etc. to ensure these businesses are positioned for growth and sustainable success. This is a highly ambiguous space, and successful candidates should have a proven track record of pulling data through SQL, using industry research to create opportunity size analyses, and communicate through strategy docs to influence central team roadmaps and prioritization. You will be the face of emerging fashion, and have an opportunity to own end-to-end program strategy in addition to brand management.Key job responsibilities• Act as the business owner possessing a complete understanding (inclusive of the strategic context) of internal and external variables that impact your business (this entails owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the business, along with responsibility for driving projects and promotions to achieve business objectives).• Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of site features that provide Amazon customers with an unparalleled shopping experience.• Manage vendor relationships including negotiations and strategic planning.• Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, while meeting tight deadlines.• Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.Basic qualifications- 3+ years of with Excel experience- 3+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownershipPreferred qualification - Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development- Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiencesAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
