Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in a specialized orthopedic and spine surgical unit, with both circulating and scrubbing responsibilities and on-call requirements.

Job Details

• Position is in a Center for Joint Replacement and Innovation (CJRI) OR, focused on total joints and spine cases,
• Preferred schedule is 40 hours/week structured as two 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM-3:00 PM) and two 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM-7:00 PM), with flexibility for four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM-5:00 PM),
• On-call is required specifically for spine cases: one weekday call per week (5:00 PM-7:00 AM), with start time varying based on end of the preceding shift,
• One weekend on-call per month covering Friday through Sunday with 24-hour coverage,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license - Compact (multi-state) or Connecticut (CT) license required,
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association),
• Ability to both circulate and scrub total joint and spine surgical cases,
• Prior OR experience with total joints and/or spine procedures required,
