Senior Systems Administrator

Job Title Systems Administrator SME Responsibilities Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. Manage daily configuration and operation activities of IT systems. Identify, diagnose, and resolve system problems. Assist users in accessing and using IT systems. Provide day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and other hardware. Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity analysis and planning. Communicate status to agency management and internal customers. Ensure completion of resolution processes. Maintain in‑depth troubleshooting experience for IT systems. Configure and manage Linux operating systems, install and load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components. Support the design of secure systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware. Analyze and resolve complex problems involving server hardware, applications, and software integration. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Certification in good standing qualifying for CWQMP (formerly CWIP) Basic Proficiency Level. 15+ years of related experience. Technical skills: Linux (RHEL, Rocky, Ubuntu), Windows Active Directory, LDAP, VMware, virtual machine and hypervisor management, GitLab administration, automated build/runners, NetBackup, Ansible, basic networking, implementation and enforcement of security policies, and integration with enterprise security monitor systems and log collection. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. U.S. citizenship required. Strong problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution ability. Proficiency in providing assistance to users and communicating status to stakeholders. Security Clearance Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required. Compensation The likely salary range for this position is $229,500 - $310,500. Benefits Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) match, health, dental, vision, and paid time off.
