OTR Driver (Class A) Santa Fe Springs California Hub

AirSea Packing Group, Inc is looking for professional OTR Class A Trailer Drivers to cover runs out of Sante Fe Springs, California to Dallas Texas. Duties and Responsibilities: In this role you will be responsible for transporting design furniture, artwork and other merchandise to our operating locations. There is no loading/offloading involved in this role. Must be available for a flexible schedule which may include nights and weekends. Essential Functions: Responsible for safely operating trucks/oversized vehicles with a capacity of 3 tons or more. Transports cargo, materials, furniture, or artwork in accordance with Health & Safety procedures. Maintains/logs record of materials and products transported. Maintains telephone contact with base supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new locations. Responsible for the pre-trip and post-trip inspection and reporting maintenance matters to management for remedy. Records and maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations. Responsible maintaining knowledge of and complying with City, State, and Federal traffic regulations. Obtains customer signature and ensures documentation is completed in accordance with company standard. Other duties assigned by management. All candidates must be enthusiastic and hardworking with a clean cut, well-groomed appearance. Driver Requirements: Must qualify for 1-year Medical Certification. Must have a clean driving record. Last 3 years of work history must be verifiable. Must be at least 21 years old. (DOT Requirement). 1 year minimum of driving experience. Dependable and trustworthy professional drivers.
