Contract Duration: 9 Months (Potential for extension or Full-Time conversion)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour + Benefits

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday | 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Overtime available based on business needs (average 40-45 hours/week)

Position Summary
We are seeking a Logistics Specialist I to support receiving, storing, and distributing marketed products within a cGMP-regulated environment. This position operates in a fast-paced distribution center supporting biotechnology operations through receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping activities.


Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare products according to shipping requirements
• Move products and non-GMP materials using manual handling methods, pallet jacks, and powered industrial equipment (forklifts, walkie riders, turret trucks)
• Receive, store, and issue inventory in accordance with established procedures
• Conduct inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Perform routine safety and functionality inspections of warehouse equipment
• Enter and maintain records in databases with a high degree of accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Create, collect, and retain records according to corporate retention guidelines
• Support departmental projects including process improvement, investigations, data analysis, documentation, and reporting
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required with 5-6 years of relevant industry experience
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences preferred
• Equivalent experience in inventory management or Bio/Pharma industry may be considered in place of degree requirements
• Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems such as SAP
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Flexible to support overtime, weekends, holidays, and shift changes as needed
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing 40+ lbs
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
• Willingness to work overtime as business needs require
• Consistently follow safety procedures and use required protective equipment
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
