Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Belleville, Illinois.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Telemetry\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 19, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position on a high-risk cardiology unit requiring 2 years of cardiac experience and an active IL RN licenseDetails\n \n work Ii high-risk cardiology telemetry unit in an acute care Magnet hospital\n Patient population includes post-CABG (after ICU step-down), cardiac cath, and TAVR patients\n Patient ratio of 1:5-6\n Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM\n Required to work every other weekend\n No on-call responsibilities\n Floating required across all inpatient units at both campuses within scope\n Uses EPIC charting system\n Requirements\n \n Active IL RN license required, in hand at time of consideration\n Current BLS and ACLS certifications required\n Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with strong cardiac background\n Experience with cardiac drip management (no titration) required\n Sheath pull experience required\n Central line management experience required\n EPIC charting experience required\n Additional Information\n \n Provide cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response as needed\n Manage patients requiring IV therapy/phlebotomy, wound care, and isolation precautions/PPE\n Support respiratory care needs including BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy care, and oxygen administration\n Care for pre/post cardiac surgery patients\n Navy scrub color required\n No parking costs at this facility\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with no RTO allowed during the first week of the assignment\n Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted\n Facial hair must allow for proper respirator fit testing or must be shaved\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-746889.
