Union Traveling Superintendent (Solar/Civil/Structural/Concrete)

Our Civil Group is looking to add an experienced Traveling Superintendent to their team. Responsibilities Oversee and supervise all field crew members including foremen, carpenters, laborers, and project operations. Develop a project site logistics plan and work with the project manager to determine method and sequencing of construction. Plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities. Develop and maintain good working relationships with owners, subcontractors, and vendors. Communicate and promote a safe working environment and company safety standards, with strong knowledge of OSHA regulations. Read plans and have a strong knowledge of various DOT specifications and standards. Confer with supervisory and engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods. Schedule subcontractors in accordance with the required work schedule, pump trucks and material deliveries; inspect and verify the receipt or shipment of materials. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of related experience with large-scale civil construction project operations required. Strong knowledge of dirt work, concrete foundation, caissons, and/or vertical drilling. Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word, and Heavy Job. GPS knowledge. Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and the project schedule. Strong leadership and management skills. OSHA 30-hour Card, preferred. All candidates agree to complete an assessment for selection and pre-employment drug screen.
