About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night and Day rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: Must have 18 months of recent medical/surgical telemetry experience. Must have the ability to float to other units as needed. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Description: Registered Nurse position in a medical/surgical telemetry setting. Potential to float to different units to care for similar patient populations. Rotating shifts include both night and day shifts. Shifts may be variable if needed to meet the operational needs of the facility. Permanent and recent experience is preferred to be in one location but may be combined. A reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying is required. Candidates must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. Travelers will receive two attempts to pass assessments; failure to do so will result in cancellation. All travelers must complete a negative 10-panel drug screen within the specified time frame. Candidates with any background checks or licensing violations may not be considered. Travelers must be nicotine-free, with exemptions only for specific roles. Annual competency requirements will apply for continuous contracts. Travel candidates are required to complete modules related to nursing education as applicable.
