About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President, Investments to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's investment strategy, with a focus on open-air retail real estate. This role involves leading a team of investment professionals, managing the full investment lifecycle from sourcing to closing, and owning the deployment of discretionary fund capital. Key responsibilities include structuring and negotiating real estate transactions, maintaining underwriting and due diligence standards, and cultivating industry relationships to drive deal flow. The SVP will also be expected to manage the investment portfolio in line with fund objectives, and to present and defend investment recommendations to the Investment Committee and institutional LPs. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' experience in a relevant investment role, a proven track record in real estate investments, and a deep understanding of fund economics and portfolio management. The role requires exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and be aligned with the company's key principles of collaboration, service, empathy, and accountability. The position demands a high level of professionalism, the ability to travel as necessary, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the investment process.
