Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to gain insight into clients' mental health needs, using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique goals of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

  • Provide effective individual therapy sessions, employing a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Family Systems Therapy.

  • Collaborate with clients to set measurable therapeutic goals and actively monitor progress throughout their journey.

  • Facilitate virtual therapy sessions via telehealth platforms to increase accessibility for clients with mobility issues or those residing in remote areas.

  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation, adhering to ethical standards and compliance guidelines to ensure client confidentiality.

  • Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, couples, and families. Our agency is committed to culturally competent care, and we especially encourage applications from clinicians experienced in serving clients from various backgrounds, particularly those from communities of color and the LGBTQIA+ community. Understanding the unique challenges faced by these groups is critical to providing effective support.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

  • Current state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  • A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience in a clinical setting.

  • Demonstrated expertise in working with couples, children, adolescents, or families, particularly within diverse cultural and social contexts.

Compensation and Benefits\n
