Working directly with the CEO, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of purchasing activities, help build an organized purchasing process, and make a real difference in keeping production on track. What You'll Be Doing Build a better process: Help establish and document a purchasing system, from purchase requests and approvals to ordering and receiving. Manage vendor relationships: Research suppliers, compare pricing, and organize information on products, minimum order quantities, and delivery timelines. Keep orders moving: Place orders promptly and follow up with vendors to help ensure materials arrive when needed. Stay one step ahead: Track vendor lead times, identify potential delays or supply issues, and help find solutions before they affect production. Keep everyone in the loop: Communicate order statuses, delivery updates, and potential concerns to leadership. Make things more efficient: Identify opportunities to improve purchasing procedures, reduce bottlenecks, and keep information organized and accessible. What We're Looking For Have a high school diploma or GED. Are detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable working independently. Have strong research and organizational skills. Communicate professionally with vendors and internal team members. Can manage multiple priorities and follow through on outstanding orders. Are comfortable building a process while handling day-to-day purchasing needs. Can get started quickly and work collaboratively with the CEO.
