Housekeeping Lobby & Public Area Attendant Full Time Manual Labor Nashville, TN, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 2648 General Summary of Duties: The Lobby Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all items and surfaces in designated areas of the hotel ensuring the JW Marriott Nashville’s cleanliness standards. Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following): Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas Stock cleaning carts with designated supplies and equipment Wipe shelves/counters; and sweep, vacuum, and mop floor and stairwells Transport any food and beverage trays/items in public areas to service areas Clean public and internal guest bathroom mirrors, vanities, sinks, toilets/urinals, walls, and floors Stock vending machines and bathrooms Sweep and maintain front entrance Report damages or maintenance problems whenever seen Perform additional duties and projects as assigned Position Requirements: Ability to speak, read, write and understand English Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment Education: High School diploma preferred Typical Physical / Mental Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, sit for prolonged periods of time Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch Must use hands to reach, grasp, handle, pull and push Must have good near and far vision Must be able to hear, talk, smell Use and exposure to cleaning solvents and chemicals Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality #J-18808-Ljbffr 8th & Demonbreun
