Job Details Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Hospital Location: Homewood, Alabama 35209 Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours Per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840 Openings: Multiple openings available Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience after graduation Experience in Stepdown, ICU, or LTAC nursing required BLS certification required prior to first shift ACLS certification required prior to first shift Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently while supporting an interdisciplinary care team Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission Develop and follow individualized plans of care based on patient needs Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and communicate patient status updates promptly Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating Support patient and family education throughout the care and discharge planning process Initiate discharge planning beginning on day one of admission Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time Delegate, train, and supervise ancillary nursing personnel as appropriate Promote patient, staff, and environmental safety at all times Contribute to a positive unit culture through teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate care Apply now to explore this Travel LTAC RN job in Homewood, Alabama, and join a healthcare team committed to excellent patient care.
