Java Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the defense and security industry, is seeking a Java Developer to join their team. As a Java Developer, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting critical security projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title Java Developer Location San Antonio, TX What's the Job? Design, develop, and maintain back-end components of web applications. Implement and manage server-side logic using programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, and/or Ruby. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services for seamless integration with front-end components. Manage and optimize database systems, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Accumulo, and Hadoop. Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications. What's Needed? Located in San Antonio, TX TS/SCI Security Clearance Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js Knowledge of RESTful API design and development Strong understanding of security best practices in web development What's in it for me?
