Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 4 Shifts per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients on a telemetry unit, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established nursing protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of North Carolina or a compact state
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a telemetry or cardiac monitoring nursing environment
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts including weekends and holidays as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Prior experience in an acute care hospital telemetry setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
