Details Hospital-based Emergency Department setting with Level 1 Trauma designation 12-hour day shifts from 7:00AM-7:30PM, 3 days per week Every other weekend required Holiday coverage on a rotating basis Floating required EPIC charting experience required Requirements Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted) Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification through the American Heart Association Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience ASN required, BSN preferred EPIC charting experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required Additional Information Serve as primary caregiver for a designated group of ED patients, applying the nursing process to assessment, planning, and care delivery Complete initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with providers and families Implement and modify care plans based on continuous patient evaluation Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation Uphold patient and staff safety standards, reporting and correcting hazards as needed Collaborate with team members and provide constructive feedback to support professional development Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than 1 year without a 6-month break in service before returning American Traveler Job ID P-764645.
