What you’ll do:Conduct and attend project meetings and maintain Client relationships, leverage and develop new project opportunitiesReview project setup, prepare advanced proposals for internal and external review and follow upComplete contract review and negotiationMonitor project budget and initiate change ordersReview, Prepare and Submit invoicesReview and sign test reportsPerform project close out dutiesEnsure field testing and inspections are scheduled and performed correctly and keep clients informed of progressSupervise and provide support to field and/or laboratory personnelTrain field and laboratory personnel on different types of testing and inspection techniques in accordance with ASTM, ACI, AASTHO, TxDOT and other reference standards and test methodsHelp with equipment issues and/or replacementAssist with lab, field and/or administrative duties as neededMinimum Requirements & Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience5 years' combined experience in Construction Materials Testing and/or Project Management experienceP.E. License in the state of TexasUnderstand Construction Materials Testing BusinessValid Driver’s License and reliable driving recordAble to read and interpret construction plans and project specificationsEffective communication skills (written, verbal and listening) and solid interpersonal skillsMust be familiar with the building codes and regulationsPossess ort ability to obtain ACI certification within 6 months of hire (Concrete, Masonry, Aggregate)Internal PMCP completion within 6 months of hireAbility to lead and supervise othersMust be able to work off shift and overtime as neededPreferred Requirements & Qualifications:TxDOT Certification(s) and project experience is highly desirableMaterial testing experience on local aviation industry jobs, is an added qualification for the positionIntertek: Total Quality.
