Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)- Full time/Part time
Location: Ramapo College of Nursing, Mahwah, New Jersey
Shift: 8:30 am -4:30 pm (M-F)

Position Summary
Ramapo College of Nursing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide high-quality healthcare services to students. The primary responsibility will be to deliver immediate nursing care in the event of student injuries, as well as promote overall health and wellness within the college community.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt assessment and treatment for students who sustain injuries on campus.
- Deliver first aid, wound care, and emergency stabilization as required.
- Collaborate with physicians, college health services, and emergency responders when advanced care is needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of all student encounters.
- Educate students on injury prevention, self-care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Conduct routine health assessments and screenings as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Participate in campus health initiatives and wellness programs.

Qualifications
- Master s degree in Nursing (MSN) with Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Current licensure as an FNP in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum 2 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in urgent care, primary care, or college health settings.
- Strong knowledge of emergency care protocols and student health needs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
