Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and technical skills to independently deliver safe nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients
• Perform and assist with procedures including vaginal deliveries and Caesarean sections
• Utilize fetal monitoring equipment and document care using electronic documentation systems
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
• Demonstrate accountability for delivering quality nursing care services while maintaining professionalism and active engagement in unit activities
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital or specialty experience in Labor and Delivery
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Experience with Meditech and/or CPN documentation systems
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
