Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer supports new product launches, improves manufacturing processes, resolves quality issues, and drives continuous improvement to ensure efficient, high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities

• Support new product introductions from design through production.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, BOMs, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot production, assembly, and quality issues; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Analyze production and quality data to improve efficiency, yield, and reliability.
• Manage ECOs and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Design and implement tooling, equipment, and packaging solutions.
• Support audits, compliance initiatives, and supplier quality activities.
• Manage capital and continuous improvement projects.
• Review designs for manufacturability and support prototype builds.
• Train production personnel and provide ongoing technical support.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Grove, IL.

The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $47.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Long Grove,IL.
