WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES SPECIALIST

Prior experience in caregiving or activity planning is preferred. We just ask that you meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with basic software tools for record-keeping and activity planning
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A team-oriented mindset
• Ability to assist with the transport of residents to the activity area
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training, workshops, and seminars
• Willingness to assist with and set up activities as directed by the Activity Director
• Willingness to chaperone off-site activities
• Empathetic and adaptable
• CNA license is preferred (we will pay for you to get one if you don't have it already)

YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES SPECIALIST

Schedule is part-time and every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The hours are 1:00pm – 8:00pm.

As our Community Activities Specialist, you'll plan games, crafts, and outings that make life more enjoyable for residents. You'll encourage participation, work closely with staff, and help create a vibrant community atmosphere where every activity feels meaningful.
