As an Armed Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, dispatch personnel, and maintain clear documentation. You will help promote a welcoming environment, provide exceptional customer service, and support timely response to incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $27.03 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in an aerospace and defense billing environment. Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document service requests, and coordinate appropriate responses to routine and critical situations. Maintain accurate logs of calls, incidents, visitor activity, and dispatch actions in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree. Possess an armed guard card or license. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
