Practice Description Locum Hematology Oncology provider needed. Hours & Schedule Full‑time coverage: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (includes a 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm lunch break). The schedule includes pre‑charting, clinic duties, and additional charting time. Responsibilities Field calls during clinic time as part of regular hourly responsibilities. Manage a panel of established patients and take on new patients. Provide infusion care in the same suite, answering treatment protocol questions from APPs or nurses. Respond to any patient reactions and manage urgent situations until the rapid response team arrives. Field patient questions; triage typically begins with NPs and then proceeds to physicians. Sign chemotherapy orders; nursing staff administer medication. Provide support to nurses with questions and react to patient reactions in the infusion section. Have a low likelihood of performing bone marrow biopsies. Maintain required privileges for a hospital‑based practice. Requirements Active OR license and OR DEA number. Board certified in the relevant specialty. BLS certification. #J-18808-Ljbffr
