Job Summary:
The surgical technician specialty is located in Hermiston, Oregon. This position involves supporting operative and other invasive procedures by preparing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment, maintaining the sterile field, and assisting the surgical team throughout the procedure. Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; no minimum experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). CRASE training may be required if travel assignment extends beyond 6 months.
• Additional Information: The employee supports the organizations mission, vision, and values. Duties include assembling supplies, maintaining sterility, assisting with instrument preparation, and cleaning surgical instruments. Participation in ongoing education and competency verification is required. The position may involve floating to other qualified departments as needed.
