Job Summary ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: Join a great team of experienced Laborists and Nurse Midwives, co-managing with both residents and Nurse Midwives Focus on giving inpatient care to pregnant women, managing labor and delivery on both an emergency and routine basis. Flexible 8/24-hour in-house shifts per month Staff of surgical Physician Assistants to assist with scheduled caesarians Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre, PA averages 2,000 deliveries per year supported by a level III NICU. Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA averages 900 deliveries per year supported by a level II NICU. GCMC provides high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care for residents throughout Lackawanna County and northeastern Pennsylvania.
