• Adult Patients
• Acutely Ill Patients With a Wide Variety of Medical Conditions
• Approximately 14-18 Patients Per Provider

• Evaluate and Manage Patients in the Gastroenterology / Internal Medicine Setting
• Assess and Manage Gastroenterology-Related Medical Conditions
• Request Specialty Consultations When Clinically Indicated
• Educate Patients and Families Regarding Preventive Care, Medical Conditions, Treatments, and Medications
• Prescribe and Monitor Medications Appropriate to the Patient's Diagnosis
• Order and Monitor Appropriate Medical and Emergency Interventions
• Refer Complex or High-Priority Cases to Collaborating Physicians
• Collaborate With Physicians on Complicated Diagnostic Problems, Serious Illnesses, Complex Treatment Issues, and Chronic Conditions
• Document Evaluations, Diagnoses, Procedures, Treatments, Outcomes, Education, Referrals, and Consultations
• Maintain Documentation Compliance for Appropriate Coding and Billing
• Participate in Clinical and Quality Review Processes

• Board Certified - Required
• Minimum of 3 Years of Recent Clinical Experience in Gastroenterology - Required
• Active New York License in Hand - Required
• AHA BLS - Required
• Epic Experience - Required
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills

• Physician Statement Required for Any Malpractice History, Including Dismissed Cases
