Medical Assistant, OB/Gyn

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant MA to join our OB/Gyn department at Physician Building 3. Schedule: Monday - Friday, no evenings or weekends The Medical Assistant MA will:- Welcome patients and prepare them for their health care visit
- Complete intake assessments including medical history and vital signs
- Assist during procedures
- Monitor, document, and administer medications and immunizations
- Perform phlebotomy and point of care laboratory testing
- Manage and prioritize patient portal (MyChart) and telephone communications
- Participate in and support patient education
- Coordinate ongoing care including referrals and prescriptions
- Play an essential role in fulfilling our mission

- Completion of Certified/Registered Medical Assistant program (must become certified within 6 month of hire) medical assistant experience preferred
