Position: Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician
Location: Metro Atlanta, GA (up to 60-mile radius)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $35-$50
Job Type: Direct Hire

Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician for a client in Metro Atlanta. This is a field service role covering a wide range of large commercial mechanical systems across multiple manufacturers. (not a maintenance or stationary building engineer position). The ideal candidate is a journeyman-level tech who thrives working independently in the field and can diagnose and service almost anything they encounter.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose and service a broad range of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems

• Service equipment ranging from small rooftop units (5-ton) up to large water-cooled chillers (up to 500-ton)

• Perform repairs, routine service, and component replacement across multiple manufacturers

• Dispatch directly from home to job sites throughout Metro Atlanta in a company-provided vehicle

• Manage daily work autonomously with minimal supervision

• Maintain a professional, customer-facing demeanor on all job sites

Must Haves

• Journeyman-level commercial HVAC experience

• Strong understanding of the refrigeration cycle

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose independently

• Experience servicing equipment from multiple manufacturers

• Hands-on experience with large rooftop units, chillers, and commercial mechanical systems

• Valid driver's license and ability to cover Metro Atlanta territory

• EPA 608 certification

Preferred Skills

• Experience with water-cooled chillers and large-tonnage equipment (250-ton+)

• Own standard hand tools (specialized equipment provided by client)

• Background with commercial mechanical contractors or commercial HVAC service companies
