Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and design tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional goals.

Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Use best practices grounded in research to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living.

Engage with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Collaborate closely with fellow rehabilitation specialists, including OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses, to provide well-rounded, comprehensive care.

Teach Patients and Family Members: Provide education on therapy methods to empower patients and their families to continue progress at home.

Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor clinical results and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track toward recovery.

A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.

A genuine passion for helping individuals and a strong desire to assist them in achieving independence.

Strong, empathetic communication skills with both patients and team members.

The capability to think outside the box and modify therapy plans to address diverse needs.
