Operating within a 60-bed rural residential rehabilitation program for men with substance use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders, the RN will direct nursing assessments, withdrawal monitoring, medication administration, and OASAS/Medicaid regulatory compliance.\n \n Substance Use & Withdrawal Assessments: Execute comprehensive admission physical/mental assessments, routine vital signs, continuous risk evaluations, and structured withdrawal assessments (COWS / CIWA) per NYS OASAS Part 820 regulations.\n Medication Management & Narcotic Control: Administer prescribed daily medications and addiction treatment regimens (including MAT support); maintain strict custody, reconciliation, and control of controlled substances.\n Triage & Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Triage emergent medical/psychiatric issues, coordinate care with mid-level providers (PA/NP), Medical Director, and outside hospitals; collaborate daily with counselors and clinical directors.\n Clinical Supervision & Quality Assurance: Oversee direct clinical care provided by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and assist in facility Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.\n Department & Facility Details\n \n Department Setting: CARS Men’s Residential Rehabilitation Program (Cost Center: 1600).\n Facility Footprint: 60-bed men's residential substance use disorder treatment facility in rural Upstate NY.\n Governing Body: New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) Part 820.\n \n \n \n Order ID: CCA-70428 Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (10/11/2026 – 01/09/2027) Shift Matrix: Day Shift | 07:00 – 15:30 (8-Hour Shift Matrix)About First Connect Health\n \n At First Connect Health, we take pride in being a Joint Commission–certified healthcare staffing agency, headquartered in Newark, New Jersey.
