Description: The Registered Nurse is a self-motivated professional and resource person. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care of the obstetrical patient. Care is provided through the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. The RN also cares for the newborn utilizing the nursing process. Participation in rotational call is required. The role involves labor and delivery, recovery, and postpartum care, totaling 36 hours a week. This position requires a Montana nursing license and specific certifications.
