Overview As an Assistant Store Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the self-storage facility. Benefits A dynamic company with an award-winning culture A clear path for advancement within our thriving company Flexible Scheduling Responsibilities Be the sales champion, converting inquiries into immediate storage rentals Elevate the customer experience with engaging facility tours Ensure the facility is impeccably clean and well-maintained Execute daily facility inspections for premium presentation Strategically implement marketing plans following guidelines Establish a visible presence in local professional associations and community functions Participate in tailored sales training and industry events Mentor and empower assistant managers with your sales acumen Proactively manage rent collections and fees Maintain precise accounting records with transparency Qualifications Exceptional customer service skills a must Open availability including weekends is needed Ability to perform light maintenance and overall property upkeep Management experience in leasing, retail, or operation environment Previous experience in sales or marketing with a proven ability to generate business and close leads Effective verbal and written communication skills Must be energetic and open to new ideas and direction changes A High School diploma / GED equivalent. College education a plus Must be able to stand for several hours at a time and lift 25 lbs. Valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation Completion of pre-employment background screening Previous experience in storage management a plus Physical & Additional Requirements Walking Standing Talking in person Talking on phone Hearing on phone Vision for close work Driving Color/depth perception Repetitive motion Keyboarding Using hands to feel/hold Lifting up to 25 lbs.
