Johnson Service Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst for a 12-month contract position in the Beltsville, MD area.

 

Selected candidates MUST be a US Person / Citizen and MUST provide an available start date, DOB (MM/DD), and the last 4 digits of SSN in order to have their resume submitted to the client company.

This position requires a criminal background check as well as a drug screen. Candidates must not have any felony charges or convictions.

 

Job Title:  Business Intelligence Analyst

Pay Rate: $41.17/hr

Location:  Beltsville, MD (20705)

Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Contract Duration: 12-months

 

Description:

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving data solutions that support operational decision-making within the plant. This role will build and manage datasets, create Power BI dashboards and reports, ensure data accuracy, and identify opportunities to improve business processes through data analysis and visualization.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for plant leadership and operational teams.
• Build, manage, and maintain datasets from multiple data sources, including multiple ERP systems, in order to support reporting and data-driven initiatives.
• Collaborate with plant management and department leaders to understand reporting requirements and business needs.
• Create automated reporting solutions that reduce manual reporting efforts.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
• Document reporting processes, data definitions, and dashboard functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and reporting issues.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Power BI development and administration.
• Minimum 1 year of experience building data models, datasets, and automated reports.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.
• Proficiency working with SQL databases and writing queries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced data analysis techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing data analysis in manufacturing setting.
