Preschool TK Teacher

Humble Hearts Academy Preschool & Infant Center is looking for a passionate Infant/toddler Teacher to join our incredible team. We have both part-time and full-time positions open, Your hours would be anywhere between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Love children and ECE - It takes a special person to work with children. We want teachers whose hearts are IN this! Have a positive mindset - Because well…No one enjoys a negative Nancy. Be creative and proactive - Micromanaging isn’t our thing! We love giving teachers room to be creative and input is always welcome! Be a team player - Like they say, “Teamwork makes the dream work!” Be adaptable - We’re constantly looking for ways to improve our school and want teachers who are open to change.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING:

Create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess developmental needs of students. Maintain a clean, healthy and safe environment. Communicate positively with students, parents and staff. Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body. Serve and monitor meals Assist children with personal needs such as diaper changing, potty training, hand washing Supervise children during nap time Assisting with any duties as needed by the program such as dishes, cleaning, and laundry

WHAT’S REQUIRED:

Pass a background check Up to date on immunizations Negative TB test High School diploma required. AA in Early Childhood Education preferred. 12 ECE units OR minimum of 6 ECE units and currently enrolled in ECE courses Must be willing to change diapers and potty train Ability to stand up and sit on the ground for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
