Security Officer - Warehouse - Patrol

Position Security Officer - Warehouse - Patrol Location Plain City, OH Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $17.98 / Hour Job Schedule Day/Time: Saturday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Sunday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, operational disruptions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or contractor entry requirements, and report suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or policy concerns to site leadership. Support vehicle and foot traffic flow around docks, gates, and high‑activity areas while following post orders and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or security‑related concerns. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
