Requirements Active New York State license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner free from any restrictions Experienced, or newly graduated, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, with a strong desire to develop expertise in a subspecialty Solid understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics Broad knowledge of common and specialty medications, side effects, and contraindications In‑depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medical standard methodologies Respect for patient's confidentiality Additional benefits of this role No hospital requirement No on call requirement (for this clinic) No weekends Support staff structure (access to dedicated Clinic Director, reception, medical assistants, checkout, billing, prior authorization, rooming and more) CME Allowance (provided annually) Additional education opportunities including APP Rounds (free CME hours), periodic EMR/Coding/Billing reviews with a dedicated team, and more Compensation The compensation rates noted on postings is the base salary Most candidates will start within the first quartile of the range and rates are based on experience New graduates typically start at $95-100K base salary Advanced Practice Providers may receive semi‑annual bonuses (if eligible) DENT Philosophy "The basic philosophy of the DENT Neurologic Institute is to show our patients and each other the same respect for human dignity and level of kindness, that we would seek for our own families and loved ones.
