Eligibility Internships are ideal for college juniors and seniors majoring in accounting with a minimum GPA of 2.8. All candidates should have completed at least one 300‑level accounting course. Mentor Program Before the beginning of an internship with Whitinger & Company, you will be assigned a mentor. This staff member will serve as a one‑on‑one resource to answer any questions and provide orientation to the company and industry, enabling you to perform confidently. In many cases, our mentors also help interns transition effectively into full‑time employment. After the Internship An internship with Whitinger & Company offers an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of public accounting and become more familiar with our firm. It also provides you with an excellent opportunity to make a positive impression and give us a better understanding of your career aspirations.
