First Community Credit Union is looking for a Vice President of Facilities & Construction Management, based out of our corporate headquarters in Northwest Houston. The VP is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the Facilities department operations including facility construction, leasing, maintenance, purchasing and mail room. They will work closely with senior management to secure bids, negotiate vendor contracts, review invoices, and ensure quality services and supplies at the best value. They will also coordinate security and cleaning personnel schedules and ensures compliance with ADA requirements and all applicable regulations. The qualified candidate will have at least 5 years of facility management experience. Class A commercial real estate management is preferred. The VP of Facilities and Construction Management's essential duties consist of: Working with senior management in developing short and long-term goals related to facilities, along with budgeting Maintain detailed financial forecasts and performance tracking for CAM, OPEX, and facility-related expenses across all branch locations Responsible for overseeing the construction of new branches and facilities, remodeling, and building maintenance Coordinates activities of architects, contractors, suppliers, and other vendors to minimize waste, disruptions, and costs on all projects Supervises preventative maintenance, repairs, alterations of buildings, grounds, and equipment, to include heating, cooling, water, power, generators, plumbing, etc. Oversees fire marshal requirements and conducts annual drills First Community is a progressive $3B+ asset credit union based out of Houston, Texas.
