Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician

• Assist in surgical procedures in the Cardiac Operating Room, including complex thoracic surgeries and vascular cases.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Ensure proper positioning and prepping of patients.
• Facilitate endovascular equipment usage for specific cases.
• Collaborate effectively with RNs, CSTs, and anesthesia staff.

Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• CARDIAC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Current BLS certification
• CST certification
